About the Project

When you are a product company you need to know how your different products are performing in the market to find the right market fit. Atliq Hardwares is a company that sells various products in India. The sales Manager of the company wanted to know about the trends of different products and find the best place to sell their product. This dashboard provides insights into sales of different products over a span of 4 years and in different cities of India.

Business Requirements:

  • 1. Automate the sales for each financial year
  • 2. Find out the revenue trend for the company using the data
  • 3. Find out the top 5 clients and top 5 products in terms of revenue generated for each year
  • 4. Find the best marketplace for the company's business

Conclusions:

  • 1. The company has seen a decline in sales since the mid of 2018
  • 2. COVID-19 affected sales further in the year 2020
  • 3. The overall sales are still positive in 2020 as compared to 2017 but have significantly dropped compared to 2018 and 2019
  • 4. Electricalsara Stores has been the top customer in terms of revenue
  • 5. Delhi NCR is the best marketplace for the company's business

Skills Implemented:

  • 1. Data cleaning
  • 2. Used DAX techniques to find out the best solutions to the problem
  • 3. Created a dashboard using different Power BI visualisation techniques
  • 4. The dashboard is fully automated, changes in the data set will directly affect the dashboard helping in future sales tracking
