About the Project

A product-based company always needs to have a proper insight into its product sales and how they are performing in different regions. These valuable insights gathered from the sales data help in analysing product market fit and which product is the hero product i.e. making the most profit. Here is a product insights dashboard which caters to all the needs of a product company.

Business Requirements:

  • 1. Automate the insights of product sales
  • 2. Find out the profit trend for the company using the data
  • 3. Find out the top 10 clients and top 5 products in terms of profit generated for each year
  • 4. Giving insights about the average days for delivery and the total number of items returned
  • 5. Gather insights about the share of each segment in profit

  • 2. The company has shown a profit of 27% year on year
  • 3. Canon imageCLASS 2200 is the most profitable product
  • 4. Raymond Buch has made the most purchases from the company

  • 2. Used DAX techniques to find out the best solutions to the problem
  • 3. Created a dashboard using different Power BI visualisation techniques
  • 4. The dashboard is fully automated, changes in the data set will directly affect the dashboard helping in future sales tracking
